Mortal Kombat 4 Transparent Sprites ?

When playing MK4, the game runs smoothly but the fighters' sprites are all a bit transparent eg:when you're fighting.

Does anyone know anything about this? oO

Or is this game compatible with this emu?

Any help appreciated :)
