are you using any cheats? Some ff9 cheats make weird graphics stuff appear.....

well anyway, I guess you could try altering the filter settings through pete's plugin, or "bilinear filtering" if you ever use Lewpy's glide... I've seen these do some pretty drastic things to text.

As king said the actual text could be corrupted for some reason... did the game/emulater crash on you recently? but I don't think this is it since it's only really affected the text

And about overclocking... Apparantly an addition of 10% over the card's normal clock speed is usually stable. And of course you know that going overboard with overclocking is silly :mg:
