Moobys ISO plugin Question

1716 Views 6 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  hushypushy
Hi there,

I've been drected to use this plugin for playing my game ISO's. Seems to work ok after I selected the Playstation data type when making the iso in Alcohol 120%.

Anyway, when I start the game up it asks me for the iso to use.

I havent got far enough into a game to reach a place where I need to change CD's. How does the plugin handle that? Will it automatically know that I need to change the Cd , and pop up the Insert An Iso dialogue box?

All you have to do to change ISOs in Mooby's plugin is hit Escape, go to File->Change Disc->CDROM, then select another ISO.
I expect if you press esc to pause emulation then go to file > change disc, it'll bring up the change ISO selector thingy. I don't know as I personaly use virtual drives.
Many thanks. For the brief test I ran last night (a full screen session) I thought that Escape quit the emulator.....

nope, pressing escape brings it back to the GUI :p

which is essential if you want it to save your memory card save. also it goes back to change disc, etc. or when some business comes up, hit escape and it stops emulation, then you can go back to it by going to Run--->Continue

Ah, I see what was happening. I was using Espexecutor to run the game, and pressing Escape when running it via that program closed the Emulator!

I've switched to running the main emulator directly and Escape now brings up the window as described. It also lets me configure some more options for the sound, so I now get sound in FMV's !

oh, word.

btw ePSXecutor is great, but i suggest you give Delta a try if you're looking for a frontend. Betamax has been working hard and i've been testing it, it's very cool. (that is, if you still want to try frontends)
