Try by using the settings i posted here this settings should help you to gain some speed. but PCSX2 can´t make wonders if your CPU is too weak. last but not least try to use a image of your game and load that image from your HDD using linuzapps image plugin... this have helped me to gain some speed too.

tut pls where can i get the 0.9.6 bios and plugins? lol ... 0.9.4 runs monster hunter faster as 0.9.6 ... only 28 fps

i wouldn´t ask for Bios here if i were you
