Greetings!

"My Disney Kitchen" from Bam Entertainment uses dual-mono sound. English on the left and Japanese on the right. I found this when I washed them through Fryio's PsxMc. Is there some way I can configure ePSXe so take the right channel and pump it to both speakers?? (a kind of "simulated stereo"?)

I've also found this with Whinne's Preschool & Kindergarden - the games work, but have the annoying mixed English/Japanese audio. My PSX is broken and I don't want to go out and buy another used unit unless it's really necessary. My 4 year-old has been driving me up the wall about this for 2 weeks now and I'd like to get this issued ironed out a quickly as possible. Please feel free to reply to me directly at (a little trick to throw off the spam-bots here) billnes at pb dot net.

Thanks,
Bill N. - New York

I think you'll have more luck using your audio card's drivers. AFAIK there's no way you can do that with ePSXe, or any other PSX emulator that i know of.

well, i dont know if you can simulate stereo. using windows' sound control panel you can move the balance all the way to the right, however.

Yep.../me thinks there is no way to do that. Only using the Windows Sound Control Panel and setting the Balance/Pan to its extreme right...anyway, did you check the ingame options? I suspect that they might allow you to adjust audio channels.
