I set up everything just now, and I can't get anything to run! I just get an error message saying I'm missing my wgl extensions, and then it closes. Any advice/suggestions? I'm really looking forward to playing some games.

either your hardware does not meet the requirements for the OGL2 or you need to update your drivers. what kind of video card do you have?

To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure. Is there a way to check?

look under the display tab in the device manager, check the display tab in the dxdiag utility (start search or run> type "dxdiag") or download a program called GPU-Z and it will tell you everything about your video hardware.

I've got directx diagnostic tool, which i found through the search, up. What information am I looking for, specifically?

just the brand name (nvidia/ATI/intel if it is an onboard chipset) and model will probably do.
