Firstly, I've read the FAQ files, and also the previous threads regarding this, but I still couldn't figure it out from the suggestions there.

The problem is basically the .sav files aren't being created. I already set the no$gba NDS backup thing to Flash-512kbps, exit properly, etc. If there's anything I'm missing, please let me know.

Also, even though the .sav file is not there, I can still play the game, save and load the save. I'm just not sure where is it coming from exactly.

I'm also using Vista if that makes any difference.

The save is in the "BATTERY" folder, which is in the folder where you put NO$GBA.

Nope. It's not in there sorry. I'm just confused where the saves are being loaded from, or if it does it internally in the game or something.

It's normally in the folder BATTERY. The save it's named the same as the name of the game which you saved.
Example: PokémonPlatinum.nds = PokémonPlatinum.sav . I hope it helps!

if you use the 512 thw ave fil should be PokémonPlatinum.sav.bat

i mean PokémonPlatinum.sav.bak it's a back up file or save

No, that's complete nonsense. Changing the savetype does not suddenly change the filetype of the save. Not to mention a file can't work with two extensions on it.

And just as a further note .bak is usually a fictional extension given to some programs that alter an original file but wish to keep a backup of the original so they just slap .bak on the end of a copy of the original so that if you ever want to use the original again all you have to do is delete the altered file and remove the .bak extension.

Platinum doesn't have a piracy check and is notoriously unresponsive to AR codes, so both your suggestions are unneeded.
Also, the majority of this thread has been a back-and-forth between you and Schumi which has not contributed in any way to help the OP.
Personally, I'd consider the former hijacking and the latter spam; don't know about you.
Also, you have repeatedly posted 1-2 line comments in other threads that haven't progressed the discussion either. Maybe you should lament about this before posting, or you are bound to get a permanent ban sooner than later.
