Hi, i know this may seem abit of topic but i have heard somewhere about Microsoft Windows 98 Millinium Edition. i dont know if it is true, but its been said that it supports NTFS and larger disk space, and its just like the old MSWin98 OS but with new drivers and so on.

Can anyone here confirm this to me if it is true or not?

windows Me is one of the worst things that Microsoft ever unleashed on the world. never use it. ever. there is absolutely no reason for you to.

Windows ME was the worst influence on Microsoft, EVER. It was because they were rushing it so they can release Windows 2000 on time.

Windows ME is a lousy piece of crap. CRAP I SAY! All it does is give you errors. It was rushed out of Microsoft's door. Your better off using Windows XP.

ya i know i think most ppl that used 2k and like it were ppl that got it right before xp came out and the driver support got better that and never used it as a server. I hate dns in windows 2k.

shimanjin, in my experiences with using the correct Windows ME drivers for my hardware, it was still a lousy piece of crap. 2K was better in my opinion.

There was nothing wrong with 2K at all.... It was a good OS. It wasn't really intended for the public domain, but servers, so it didn't have any candy with it. Doesn't make it bad.

ME crap, no question.

Considering that Windows XP was based off of Windows 2000 because of it's stability, I don't see your logic in this.oO

me saying that that is an understatement would be quite the understatement in itself.

windows 2000 was the best thing to come to windows and like plot said, that's what XP came out of. windows Me was a buggy, crapass, less compatible version of windows 98 (which sucked to begin with..but not so much because it sucked less than windows 95)

I lived with WinME for about 2 years. Worst two years of my life. It did have the advantage of being able to play DOS based games better than XP (at least for me), but I would rather install 98 Second Edition than try to wade through ME again.

ya ive used 1.1, 3.11, 95, nt4 backoffice, 98, 98se, me, 2k pro and server and both xp home and pro and if id have to order them from the ones i liked to desliked it would go something like this.

2.xp home
3.98 se
4.Me
5.98

7.2kpro
8.95
9.nt4
10.3.11
i really would rather use mac os then 1.1:laugh:
