Does DeSmuME actually support all microphones, or just usb mics? I have a 1/8th inch jack microphone, and it doesn't work in Nintendogs: Lab & Friends. If not, will that be in the next version (1.9.5)?

It has no idea what kind of mic you have. Its up to you to set it up correctly in windows as the default audio input device.

I have the kind w/the pink plug that looks like it plugs into a headphone jack (1/8 inch). It is now set as the default mic ... I'll test it and post again w/results.

Thanks. All I did was Start > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Voice > Test Hardware. I followed the instructions, and now it works (kinda). There's still some problems with the mic not being very accurate at picking up sound (picks up a lot of bass, and not much else), but I guess that's what I get for buying a cheap mic.
