Recently decided to try Subsistence and I get, well, normal fps out of cutscenes and I was wondering if it would be possible to somehow boost my performance. The laggy voices in the cutscenes are really getting to me, but maybe it's not possible with my rig. Anyway, here are my stats:

Intel E8400 3.00Ghz
2 Giga ram
Nvidia 8800 GTS 320Mb
Windows XP Professional

I've tried it on both the PCSX2 Beta and 0.9.6 and my plugins are:

Video - Gsdx latest revision
Sound - SPU2-X- 1.2.0

I've left everything else mainly on default, if someone knows how to even slightly boost my performance I would appreciae it.

Since there's no videos, you could use synchacks (x1.5 x2) and IOP x2. Or you could try VU Cycle stealing in beta. INTC and WaitCycles gave me no speedup whatsoever.
Also, uncheck "flush to zero" if it's checked.

Okay, i've gotten it to work more or less, but now I have a problem which probably can't be fixed . Is it impossible for me to aim the gun with a keyboard? It's supposed to be with a pressure sensitive gamepad. So, is it impossible?

You can hold button

Yes, you can aim with the pistol with pressing and then releasing, but the other weapons. Not possible to aim with the AK.
