Guys can you do a favor a found that ..... ah just look at my config
for spu use internal, and use PAL if u have a NTSC Cd
the game plays Like a pc games no sound bugs!!!!
but make sure your fps is steady at 80 fps
anyone w/ a fast PC please try this i just wanted to see if it will work because in my card can't handle solid 80 fps in game but in codec scene the sound is fluid doesn't repeated......

mgs has sound bugs, afaik the sound is not emulated correctly yet...


btw, nice desktop screenshot...it clearly says '7 fps'

I'm confused. Why do you wanna play it at 80 fps instead of the normal 60 fps? Are you saying that's supposed to fix the sound?

I have noticed that mgs runs strangely slower than a real psx.....even when the fps says 60 fps, it's still seems slower than running it on a psx..... I set it to a higher fps and it seems to be get normal speed..... weird......... Maybe some timing problems...... with the gte........ The same thing is true for when playing Tekken 3...... Strangely slower even though the fps counter says 60......

so better try that config i just post nothing will loose even if you try it.....

the sound bugs will not happen if yer pc is capable of it 80fps solid!!!!!! but the gte bug will not disapear!!!!!

I think it will run as normal !!!!! coz 60fps is not enough the game is too slow even in solid 60 fps you noticed it isn't it?

Dude,

I got MGS PAL running on my system, solid 80 FPS (see shot) and the sound still sucks.

Guess this one is a bug in the emulator...

Mine is NTSC and forcing to PAL to make the sound bugs disapear
and also use "internal spu" Try to force it to NTSC in the epsxecutor country settings I'm not sure if this will work if nothing happens try another fps limit let me say 75 or 78....
just test your own fps limit until the sound bugs disapear

I cant compare mine coz i have NTSC cd
