[Black Friday]

Recently, I got to the stairs, where you are supposed to change discs. Unfortunately, if I use escape to exit, and change the disc, all the audio stops, and once I get into the actual gameplay, contacting Mei Ling on the Codec just causes a freeze. Savestates create a similar problem. So, is there a way I can change discs without exiting the emulator?

if you use images, mount them on a virtual drive with alcohol or daemon tools to play the games, when the game asks to change discs, go into daemon tools or alcohol, mount the next image and go back to the game and hit x or whatever to continue the game, this worked flawlessly for me on ff9 which is only game i tested it with so far, good luck.

Sorry, but the act of changing what's mounted on the drive gives me the same problem. Perhaps I could give my save to someone, and they could save after the disc switch?

Use ePSXe 1.60 or 1.52. 1.70 has problems with disc switching.

1. I'm using 1.52
2. It's not the actual switching that's the problem. It's that whenever I use escape to get out of the emulation and go back in, I can't save, and there's no audio. Same problem with save-states.

I'm assuming that the memcard files are all you need, but Filefront's being finnicky, and won't let me upload. <_<

try ssspsx and psx emu, it is a known issue and all i did was is using an alternate emulator to get past that bit
