Memcard trouble in ePSXe...

I realy love this emulator, it can run Castlevania Simphony of the nigth, but i can't save in the memory card, and yes I've already press the F4 key, but nothing hapened, the F1 save states are great, but sometimes i would to save in a memcard. Someone can help me???
