mem card problem

I am throwing this out in the hope that someone can help me with this please.

I am playing an iso of spiderman

For some reason the game wont recognise my mem card not even one that I just made.

Please can someone help out with this please.

everything else seems to work fine.

try toggling on SIO irq (f4) before saving, that may help.
