I'm using 1.6.0
and I'm using an ISO from Megaman X5. The log window says it to be "ok" but then my emulator crashes.

does this have to do with Video settings?

There are many things that can affect, and posting your current plugin set and configs would help. Wich program did you use to make the ISO, and how do you load it to epsxe? What happens if you load the original disc?

i'm using Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.7 with no changes to the settings as I got it except for the odd/even bit hack option for Chono cross in the special game fixes

Megaman X5, as every 2D game, works better with peops GPU plugin. What about remaking the ISO, did you do it? Wich program are you using to make your images?

I use Pete's OGL(1) plugin for that game...and almost every other too. Works better for me than peops..
