Yeah VGS is commercial but you can find it on any warez chatroom on UnderNET or DALnet. It's still the most "accurate" emulator out there and is the most compatible, the only problem is that it doesn't use graphical enhancements of any kind so 3D games look pretty bad. MegaMan looks fine though.
BTW, how are the voices in MMX6? I remember the ones in X4 were TERRIBLE but they were a lot better in X5. I think they had woman doing X's voice in 4, ridiculous![]()
Answered your question?Capcom kept the original JPop for the intro movie, and presumably for the ending sequence as well. They also translated the captions at the bottom of the movie into English. The Japanese narrator is not heard.
Even though there is only one real movie in the game, besides the Capcom logo animation, the rest of the story is told through well-drawn still or slightly-animated screens, like in X5. While there is text on the bottom that shows what the characters are saying in English, Capcom kept the original Japanese voices that accompanied the text in the Japanese version. So, now there's some emotion behind the words, even if you can't understand what they are saying. These sequences can also be skipped using the Start button.
Now that's good news...Now I can look forward to buying the game without much worry and difficulty regarding compatibility, etc.Originally posted by JanusX
And to add to the good news MMX6 works on VGS![]()
Heck yeah! (Though i'd prefer ePSXe to VGS anyday)
The only English I'm expecting out of the Japanese version is the intro movie. Sorry, man.Originally posted by DCcopy81
You wouldn't by any chance know if the Japanese version of the game will have english translated menus, etc. (or maybe an option to change languages)? Just curious if this game will have any english in it.
