Hello there,

I have managed to finish Mega Man star force: Pegasus and now I am playing Mega Man Star Force 2: Zerker x Ninja...
Now here is a problem: when I go to the wave world...Mega Man seems to be BELOW the wave roads...Due to that...lots of cutscenes in the game, NPCs and bonuses were not visible and hard to find... Its not only for MMSF1 but MMSF2 seems to have the same problem

I tried to change many graphical settings (OpenGL2 configurations in properties menu) but nothing has changed...

I am playing on Ideas 1.0.3.2 and even tried to 1.0.3.3 Beta but nothing worked...

Any ideas how to fix this? :(

Thanx dude yer a life saver! I am using DeSmuME emulator. Good thing that I was just in the second scenario in the storyline. So, no big loss (like lots some super, hard to get stuff)
The problem is solved and even no lagging.

Lino you have to admit that at the moment DeSmuME is just plain better, better performance, better compatibility and better rendering of the games as well as more comfort features....and then there's the sound....iDeaS has NEVER had good sound, it's quite unbearable....

Just because one thing is better does not mean the other is useless, though most people only use the best and forget the rest.

IF iDeaS got some sound improvements people might be more willing to use it

Actually, iDeaS has indeed had a pretty clean sound plugin in the past. It was just broken for a long time. You can find it in my signature.
Unless the official sound plugin is reverted to the old one, it's normal that many people will find the sound in iDeaS unbearable... (remember Poki#3, Lino?)

That's not the only problem. There are more important problems such as sprite ordering and layer blending/ordering being broken since 1.0.2.9. Not to say that iDeaS is currently no longer being worked on, because of the problems Lino is having, and that's quite unfortunate... (even Emucraze is being moved to another host)

Anyway, for support, the issue described in the first post should be fixed by switching to 1.0.2.8 (you can find it here for instance, with many plugins in it).

Tried every plugin and the sound has ALWAYS been subpar...though I do admit there was a time where it was at least a little better than currently...

Perhaps behind the scenes iDeaS is better than no$gba but for the end user that just wants to play game 90% of the time no$gba is better...at the very least it sounds much better.
And no this has nothing to do with the source code or you placing the emu in dormancy, I would not know the first thing about what to do with the code.

Truly desmume has improved a LOT, and i've tested it deeply to admit, is far superior to iDeaS on many fields. The SVNs changes so much that i don't care about the official ones.

But iDeaS has something that Desmume still doesn't has: a better core code (almost all the games starts, one example is Ultimate Mortal Kombat, even if the graphic is messed up) and the debugger is much more "professional".

Please don't put ***** on this or the other emulator. Every one of it has something that the other lacks. The superior one should be the fusion with the lightness of No$gba + the open scheme and better graphic precision of Desmume + the robust "starting" code and the much more organized debugger of iDeaS. :thumb:

But it's only a dream :D

The new code of Desmume about syncro has fixed almost all the sound. Literally with a Decent pc there is no flaws.
