ok mm BN 5 with VBA .. in the ship comp and i need to go underwater ..but with the VBA it makes the transparent portions of the map to appear opaque and I cant see the underwater pathes to get the keys .. any help with what setting I can use?

Some gba game use a trick to simulate alpha blending effect. These games draw some sprites at one frame and without drrawing them at next frame, so these sprite look like blend with background. For example F-Zero uses this trick to draw the track.

If you set the frame skip to 1 or auto-frame skip, sometimes the alpha blend sprites just don't blend or disapear. Try to set frame skip to zero if you are this case.
