Eh, n00b Q for you guys. I was just wondering what mdec was, and how i could change settings? I'm having trouble in FF9 during battel scenes, where everything slows down, the graphics boxes are blinking, and there are trails when there is motion. Any help appreviated, thanks

Mdecs are just the motion video in the games.. the options for mdecs was taken out of epsxe 1.4, but can be changed with executor or in the registry or command lines.. As for your problems with FF9:

for you slowdowns in battle...

If you are using petes pluggins... set framebuffer to black not hardware and don't turn on FUll Vram Primitives...

if you are using lewpys glide pluggin then set Offscreen drawing to "basic" or "extra" not FULL... and set framebuffer to "write"..

This also fixes your trails around your graphics boxes.. You can set Off screen drawing in petes gpu pluggins to 3 or 4 for your blinking boxes..

I don't think they blink like that on lewpys glide pluggin..
