Im just wondering, wuts the maximum amount of wireless clients that a wireless router, such as my MR 814 can support?

Cuz rite now my dad's comp downstairs has net thru its wireless (mine and a few others use a ethernet cable cuz their on the same floor) and im wondering if i can let my mom's laptop access the internet wirelessly (by purchasing a usb adaptor or a pcmia card or wutnot).

My Belkin router says 32 WLAN and 253 LAN, so I think your MR814 should be just fine.

same router I use ^^

my router is able to wirelessly connect my computer, my brother's computer, and my dad's laptop at the same time without any problems.

I think the limit is how many avaliable DHCP adresses there are. But odviusly the more computers connected at the same time, the slower the internet will be for everyone.....but it's not a noticable difference.

I have a nice set up at my hosue, Every room has an ethernet cable wired to it. Other than the rooms with comps already wired in, my dad's laptop can swich from wierless to wired in almsot any room. Great for if some of my friends wana have a lan party because every room is pre wired :p
