Marvel vs Capcom 2 Stage Lag

Is there a way to omit or substitute a stage or two in this game? The clock tower stage and the circus stage each give me horrific slowdown, and I was wondering if there could be a solution for this outside of me having to go out and get a new video card. I don't know what it is about those two stages that slow me down more than others, but it's pretty aggravating, and I'd like to find a resolution that doesn't involve me throwing my monitor into traffic like some kind of cathode ray tube imbued shot put.

why bother playing mvsc2 on dreamcast emus when it doesnt work 100% while you can play the ps2 version on pcsx2 emu perfectly... sure the dreamcast version is the best version period still what can you do
If I can't get the NullDC version to work without lag, how am I supposed to get the PCSX2 version to run smoothly?
System specs?

If you're using nullDC v1.0.3, you can try the previous beta 1.6 which most likely works faster.
I'm actually using the 1.6 beta. These are my system specs.

use everest to post the system specs/summary.
This report is huge, how much of it and which portions am I supposed to post?
Attach it if it's too big.

Although I think just adding the display devices section of a Dxdiag report would've been enough. >_<
This is strange I read this a lot. I have never had a slowdown problem or gfx problem with my MVSC2 it runs great pretty much like a DC. Maybe it is your GFX config here is what I use it might help not sure.

Resolution: 640x480 60HZ (this is because 800x600 will break the sprites)
Aspect ratio: Extra Geom
Paletted Textures: Dynamic,Point
Sort: Strip (You might want to cut this off. Seeing it says off is fastest)
Modifier Volumes: Normal
Z Buffer Mode: D24FS8 (Fast when available,Best Precition)

Those settings have always made it look best and play smoother for me.
