I get the game to work by switching from Realtime, auto to Unlimited MHz Disaster, 50% and back between walking and battle, but the first fight using Bowser moves the top screen in between the two screens and then game crashes.

Just wandering if anyone has found a way past it? i would be really grateful :thumb:

I just checked some other boards: the game has a piracy check and none of the codes seems to work on emulators (neither No$ nor Desmume). All second-source info, as I haven't tried it myself.

I checked another forum for a piracy code and found one. i tried it but it did not work for me. here it is just in case some one else makes it work.

No piracy protection bypass codes please, whilst they may be needed to get the game to work on an emu they technically still fall under piracy and are not to be discussed on this forum

Also there is some patches for it but they also don't work for me. maybe they will for you.

I am already in side Bowser. I'm controlling him right now on his way to his first fight. The game then crashes as the fight starts.

Convert your save to RAW Autodetection format, use the code posted above and play this part on Desmume, then switch back to No$. The game is fully playable on Desmume 0.9.1 (with the code :p), but it has more glitches and a lot of slowdown.

How you get it to work ? For me it stops at the first fight. I can't start the first fight.

To solve the first fight freezing (metaboss or Bowser Boss Battle), I disabled the audio in a scene *before* the scene when battle starts (ie. when you see some ships destroying the Bowser castle) or even before, depending how much of the game you want to play without audio. If you disable it just before the battle starts, won't work (or at least didn't work for me).

Anyway, when the battle starts (and with the audio off), you will see a black screen on the upper screen and a white on the lower instead the graphic corruption and later crash. Just turn on the audio again (mono or stereo) and the battle should start fine.

I guess is an audio related bug, don't ask me why it crashes like that.

The other thing is converting the No$GBA save to RAW format (Autodetection) using a save converter (like ShunyWeb).... use desmume with that save and get past that battle, then use No$GBA again if you want. The problem with desmume is that... it is overall slower with this game, even using the latest SVN.

That actually Worked. I used to use that trick in earlier versions. I totally forgot about it. Thanks Gamer3000.:thumb:

Also after that fight you can turn the sound back on and it works fine.

I turned the sound off and it still hangs on first battle...What am I dooing wrong ?
Yeah well... you need to turn it on again so the battle can start.

Anyway, the game seems to freeze later, in the battle with the yellow blocky guy (Brirock). And this can't be solved (tried disabling audio and No$Zoomer without luck).

Apparently this has something to do with battles at which someone talks.

So, your best bet right now if you want to use an emulator, is desmume... yeah, it's slower, but it doesn't freeze in-game until now. Or wait for an update version for some external utility or No$GBA.

If you find a way to get past it, just post it :)

I need help getting past the Muscle minigame before the Wiggler fight can someone help?

The balls seem to teleport back to the cannon right before I get a chance to hit them cause the cannon won't stop firing and when I do hit them most of them don't go into Bowser's muscle they bounce off and I have to try to do it again. They even go back when I don't do anything and some just hit Luigi (rarely Mario). It's really annoying and I just want to fight Wiggler. Any help will be appreciated.

P.S. I am using No$Zommer and have WinDSPro.

WinDS Pro is not supported in the forums, but I'll try to help you.
Disable EX5 when you are growing the muscle of Bowser, and enable it when it has been growed too much.
