My 3rd attempt at writing lyrics, this time more lyrics then a song unlike the previous attempts. Like it, hate it, anyway, comments are welcomed

I liked the lyrics, chaosblade, but I've one complaint. You should change the title to "Development of the Mind". In evolutionary biology, only populations can evolve, never individuals.

Repeat with me: invididuals develop, populations evolve

Of course you can use evolution in it's vulgar form, to mean change, but this usage sounds too much like Julian Huxley's notions of inevitable progress in evolution and like-minded ideas.

Changing the title of your song to "Development of the Mind" you'll sound much more serious to any evolutionary psychologist who might read the lyrics.

BTW, feel free to ignore my complaint. It’s just that I can’t help it when I see a mistaken use of the word evolution

Hmm. Ill take that into consideration, and perheps change the name aswell, we shall see as i get more comments about it
