Does ePSXe play Lunar 1. I put the game in and the emulator loads up, but the screen is black.

I have a P3 1.1ghz, a NVIDIA GeForce 2 Ultra and a Santa Cruz Sound Card (not sure which one).

Short answer: yes, as the modified screenshot below shows. Long answer: what is your configuration? You may not be able to play because of a specific configuration. The only explanation I could offer without that information is that you may need to use a different bios (works just fine on 1001 here).

it can play lunar 1? really? was it lunar 1 or 2 that gets the black screen after you exit from the menu? i forgot..

Someone had problems with Lunar SSSC going to a black screen after exiting the menu. I haven't played the actual game recently; all I know is it loads up fine.

Yeah it loads perfectly fine - i tried it some months ago.

And it starts playing - everything looks great.

But you cannot play it, the Controls aren't working, the sounds(voices) are choppy, and it crashes.

As far as I know this is the case on all configs... but i may be wrong.

Lunar 2(Eternal Blue) is working perfectly - so play this game instead.

SIO IRQ enabled? That should get controls working..Play with "F4" till ya get results..

lunar 1 is the one with the black screen
lunar 2 is working fine in epsxe
