probably because you turned off sound and saved a save state right? you will have to load it off a memory card save with teh sound option turned on.
Lost Sound on FFIX :x
So I'm thinking I might have really screwed up... 
I unchecked Enable Sound so that I could play music instead of listening to the game sound, and played a bit, and saved.. I got some strange error about not having sound to save or something.. :???:
Now, when I've turned sound back on, there's no sound anymore when I load my game... there is when I start the game though. Any way to fix this? If not, I guess I'll just revert back to my old save, but it would really help if there was a way to just fix it!
Oh, and I love the smileys. Very fitting for a board where most of the posts are people like me asking for help oO
