didn't you make a regulare save (memory card) at all? Otherwise you're screwed.
We can't help with downloaded game[piracy] related issues. Or could you please clarify by what you meant with "I downloaded silent hill"?
Aytius, re-read the rules.

As for your problem, check the memory card files via MemcardRex.
:p don't worry, i own both games but one disc is scratched and takes forver to read and the other is at a friends house, so i downloaded them. I understood this was perfectly legal?

As for the memory card problem. The PC version of the game is on the computer. I just used the default save that epsxe gave me. i'll take a look in the memory card files when i get on my home computer
Figured out the issue. There was a virus contained within the Silent Hill file i downloaded (my disk is too scratched to read) and it put the save data somewhere else. So when epsxe was looking for my save file it was reading a blank document. i simply had to send the memory card back to the memcard folder

no it is never legal to download copyrighted material, past or current ownership is irrelevant. any images must be made from your own game discs and we cannot give you any assistance in the future if you are using pirated copies of these games either, so please read the rules before posting again.
