Wasn't it said before, on this forum, that stuff like that shows up in nVidia drivers all of the time? It may have even been you that said it. Someone else pulled something like that up when it happened before, and I remember someone else said it doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Yes, it was me, however that was lines like

NVIDIA_G78.DEV_04C0.1 = "NVIDIA G78"
NVIDIA_G78.DEV_04C1.1 = "NVIDIA G78"
NVIDIA_G78.DEV_04C2.1 = "NVIDIA G78"
NVIDIA_G78.DEV_04C3.1 = "NVIDIA G78"
NVIDIA_G78.DEV_04C4.1 = "NVIDIA G78"
NVIDIA_G78.DEV_04C5.1 = "NVIDIA G78"
NVIDIA_G78.DEV_04C6.1 = "NVIDIA G78"

Lines with proper part names, rather then code names are likely to show up on the market.

Their DX11 HD5xxx cards are supposed to be coming out real soon, actually. (within a month or 2 supposedly)

From the modified INF that I use to install nVidia WHQL and beta drivers onto my laptop:

NVIDIA_DEV.0CB0.01 = "NVIDIA GT215"

It seems that one of them is just a product being renamed.

I'm certain there is no such thing as GT 215 on the market. It seems like people were just guessing what the next parts would be in some custom infs (that are modified to work with mobile GPUs since mobile GPUs don't have driver updates as frequently as desktop parts but they can use the drivers of the desktop parts anyway) and... were causing ruckus left and right. :innocent:

But if the inf comes from an official or beta driver package then there's a chance all of this is legit. ;)

GT215 is a code name, where as GTS/GT (space) number is an actual part.
