Ok, my school these really cheep PC's that have practicly eveything blocked, and it is getting quite frustrating. The bios is locked but I can view it and see that booting from a CD is enabled. Therefore I am now looking for the best Linux Distro with a Live CD version.

This is the key part. Is there any Linux Live CD's that you can download and, before you turn off the computer, have it save all changes to a flash drive as if it was updating your live CD? It would then access this USB drive to view the changes. I know they have Live CD's that, using CD-RWs, can be modified and saved, but my schools computers do not have burners.

Heh, ya but I thought the whole thing about live bootable cd's is that it leaves no trace that you were on the host pc. I dont really want to install the entire thing on a USB drive, I just want it to save to it. I am currently downloading Knoppix and ubuntu. I hear that both of them are very good and might have the funtion I am looking for.
