Finally it is out! For those ( like me ) who still dont have a chance to play the sr2 full version, u can download the demo version to get a taste!

The demo is about 51.3 megs.

Btw, i am unable to download it now........max users is 100...it asked me to try again later.... @$#@@#$

Man, that's a really busy server. I can't download it from the link you told me.

btw, for those who already have the full version of the game, there is a patch for upgrading to version 1.01 which has several corrections. You should get it.

yea man.. way too busy. I tried to use a broadband line to download the demo, it only connected at 4 - 5k per sec....And using my 56k modem, it connected ar 2 - 3k per sec.... And now i am unable to continue to download the file after i disconnected from the net, it only allows 100 users to download at the same time...I thinnk i have to wait for other websites to upload the file before i can get it...

Well, I got it to start downloading, but I have a slow 56k modem connection, so I'm downloading at around 4KB/s. It will take a long time for me to finish it.

well, i have finally downloaded it from another url.It is much more faster than the first one.

The previous one is from eidos.co.uk, and this one is from eidos.com.

I spent about 6 hours to get the demo...one word, Great! The environments are really great!

If i compare the graphics with RTCW, i will say, Soul reaver 2 has better environment graphcis but lose to RTCW when compare to characters' polygons and textures.. ( if both of them run at max setting ).

I finished downloading it also, but it only took me 3 and a half hours, although I have a poor connection. Anyway, you know I have lousy specs and I thought the demo might even not run at all in my pc, but it did!. I set to 640X480 and the game was playable, with fairly good speed! Huhu!

Dont worry man, this game run great even if on low spec ( alot of people has said that ).

And if u have a 15 inches monitor like mine, it is not bad to play at 640x480 (which i usually do)

Well, when I said low specs, I meant REALLY low specs. Check out my profile and you'll see that it's even a bit lower than the minimum required by the game. Anyway, I played the whole demo with no problems, and when the game arrives in Brazil, I'm sure I'll get it.

I noticed that there is alomost no differences between "no fsaa" and "4xfsaa" in this demo... (well, just abit different)

Anyway, i am very satisfy with the game no matter in sound aspect,music, graphic, storyline and..... I LOVE IT!

Btw, can anyone write down the conversations in the game and send it to me or post it here? My english is not very good, has some problem to understand what they say sometimes.

hey i could do that for ya but im already at the third save point(5 hours into the game) lemme know if you still want me to...or are you talking about the demo only conversations or the actual whole game?

Thansk eazye,

I just found out that the game will provide a menu for player to re-read the conversions after a cut-scene over.So i think there is no need to record down the conversations manually.

Anyway, thanks for ur reply and the helps u offered. I really appreacoate it .
