Hello. I'm was playing the Legend of Mana, US version on the ePSXe emulator when I noticed a sort of glitch. It might be easier to understand if you saw the image yourself
Heres the accompanying screenshot:

The Cause of this: Unknown
The effect of this:
Causes lettering to disappear from all menus, speech, etc.
For example: If you have a DragonScales 2HSword, the glitch will cause it to read as " ra o Sc l s 2 Sw rd"
I have no idea what this is caused by. I will be grateful if someone out there can help me solve this.

Turn off 2xSaI (or SuperEagle, Super2xSaI, or Scale2x in P.E.Op.S.) in the video plugin if it's enabled. Here's some instructions on how to do it.

Pete's hardware accelerated plugins (D3D, DX6 D3D, OGL, OGL2): Set hi-res textures to something other than 1.

P.E.Op.S. software plugin: Switch to a different stretching method, such as Stretch to full window size.

Which plugin are you using? Post the settings of that plugin so we can help you.

try raising offscreen drawing to 3 or 4. Also, lower fb textures, you won't use them if tou have access at 4.

Disable "Keep PSX aspect ratio". Also, change your resolution to something with a 4:3 ratio, like 320x240, 512x384, 640x480, 960x720, 1024x768, etc. I recommend running at 640x480.

NOTE: THIS HAS NO LINK TO THE PROBLEM ABOVE. This only applies to performance issues.

Sorry, no offence meant, moderators, but you may have overlooked this options. I believe his system is capable of running at full frame rate...BUT why are these options enabled?

Try turning off frame skipping and unfiltered FB off. Turn on mask bit.

Anyway, can you try to post your frame rate here? Give a range. (You can find out your frame rate by pressing DELETE during gameplay.)

Just noticed, you should visit pete's site and d/l the latest version of the plugin (1.75, 2 won't get along well with that old geforce).

Yes, it will be likey to work at the expense of "bad" graphics. Meaning that every thing will look pixelated and about the same as the PSX.
