ePSXe is just getting better and better. More and more games are becoming playable, and with newer plugins coming out all the time (like the latest Iori SPU plugin), things are shaping up quickly.

There's just one little thing I would like to ask of you. I use WIn2K, and I own an InterAct Axis Pad, which practically mimics a Sony DualShock but doesn't have a rumbler (I don't mind that). My problem is with the D-Pad. It appears on the DirectX configuration as a POV Hat. For whatever reason, your controller configuration currently doesn't recognize POV hats.

If you could add support for POV hats into a future release, I would greatly appreciate it since I would then be able to fully enjoy my experience.

I have the same os and control pad. its not that the POV hat isnt supported it is that u cant configure it in the axis pad config program cause it isnt supported in win2k yet. I the little book it came with u can make a profile under win98 for epsxe and can use the POV hat as a d-pad. as default in win2k the only use I have got from the pov hat is that in crimson skies u can look arund outside your plane with it. I emailed interact 3 weeks ago bout win2k drivers but never recived an email back

raziel,
the POV hat is the little button on top of a joystick that you can push in 4 or 8 ways usually; kinda like that a d-pad. its name has "POV" because traditionally flight sims use it to look around (as mentioned, Crimson Skies is an example). it's called a "hat" because it's on the "head" of the joystick.

in this case the Axispad Win2k driver is showing the d-pad as the POV hat.

Same with the InterAct Hammerhead FX (this one looks exactly like a psx dual-shock complete with rumble). The POV hat on it is a bit of a problem if you can't get the drivers installed correctly (I got ONE of mine installed correctly, the other is simply coming in as an "InterAct gaming device" with no config options. Works, but can't change POV to D-Pad or anything :( Also, no rumble :(). I e-mailed InterAct about 3 times, with 2 months to separate the e-mails and NEVER received a reply. I think they jipped us :(.
