I have a joypad with two analogs, it is called PC Dual Shock (USB port). Unfortunately I have only windows drivers and I can't get it to wotk under Linux (Slackware). Can anyone help me?

USB is USB. This is likely a permissions issue, not a driver issue.

Expect your controller to show up in /dev/input or /dev/usb.

Find it in /dev somewhere and then chmod 777 /dev/yourdevice and chown -R youruser /dev/yourdevice as root.

Then your games will see it while you're a regular user.

If you want to see what the kernel says about the device, type dmesg in the terminal just after you plug it in. You should see some blabbing about USB.

You are right. But usually, with the 2.6.x kernels and USB joypad, it shows up as /dev/js0 or /dev/input/js0 (where js0 is your joypad. js1 would appear if you had 2)
