Japanese Games?

I was wondering if the ePSXe can play japanese games.

Yes, it can. The memory cards could get reformatted for japanese region, so you might lose euro/us saves (like with the actual console and memcards whenplaying games from a different region).

Discussion of questionably acquired material falls under the [rules]no-piracy rule[/rules]. Quick reminder.

Actually I'm pretty sure different region games get their own slots, even if they're the same games. So there's no need to format the memory card. At least it was that way on PS2.

Haven't tested it for the PSX though.

emmm ive never seen this happen before, and i use alot of games from different regions. (including japanese)
