I recently downloaded the epsxe emulator and got almost everything in order from bios to all the plug ins. The only issue im having with is the sound plugin which isnt working for me at all. I downloaded eternal, peops, and andys sound plug ins and they all dont work. Im pretty sure my sound card should support the plug ins because ive had no issues with sound on any new games ive played on the pc or on adripsx. If anyone could please help me out that would be great.

Thank you for reading my post. I recently checked it out to make sure the boxes where checked and I got into a mix up when the aditional plugins weren't working while I wasnt aware that the default was just fine. When I clicked test nothing occured so in all the jumble I must have missed the default. I did indeed get my sound working however. I have a strange concern though.
I'm not sure if its because the plugin doesnt like to agree to the game im playing *nothings perfect eh?* or it's occuring because an auto limit on my frames has reached its peak and its slowing down but while playing castlevania, sotn the musics just fine in the beggining but when I get to one of the later areas that has +4 monster sprites on the screen (not sure if this is the cause because of fps) The music will slow down like crazy, pretty much as if you took a record or song and slowed it down manually) I know for sure its not the game itself but im not sure weither this is a compatibility issues with the game and the emulator/or default plugin or if its a limiting setting thats causing this when to much happens at once. Im completely clueless and I can only guess.

Thanx.

My video card is an Nvidia Vanta/Vanta Lt. I have a feeling that the issue is because of fps. Maybe to much going on for my cpu to take. If I put the settings way up for instance its slow as hell ect. lol. Is there any way you can run a good quality resolution that isnt blurry *like when you stretch the image*. Ive tried doing first few resolutions on the list for full screen but the quality is completely lacking. If I put it on an 900x700 window res or I stretch the image the quality is great, but the image is somewhat blurry. And if anyone knows what the different between stretched and stretch while keeping aspect ratio that would be great. For the resolution issue maybe ill try other plugins. Im using peops right now.

Perhaps this will help, found it in the compatibility list lol didnt discover it till a sec ago.

Castlevania Symphony of the Night 100% Perfect Use P.E.Op.S. SoftGPU plugin or use Pete's D3D but use 800X600 resolution to get correct speed.
