I have ripped FF7 into an ISO file but when i go to "run ISO" a black screen pops up and my taskbar remains in the foreground.

any ideas?
help would be greatly appreciated!

Ive tweaked the video plugin (petes openGl) , this did not help.

The disk doesnt work either. it crashes very often.

You say the disc doesn't run well either...
Did whichever program you used to rip it complain of lots of errors?

ISOs can fix gameplay errors/crashes with some scratched discs but if the disc is that badly damaged (assuming here that is is damaged/badly scratched) then it might be a bad ISO from a bad disc...

I used sonic DigitalMedia Plus v7. I ripped disk 1 and the program created the ISO without a problem. The size of the ISO was 724,952.

yeah, get a real ISO making program like alcohol 120%, CloneCD, or ISObuster.

and if you load the ISO, you dont need a CD plugin...but if you do play off the CD, try peops CDR plugin
