If you want to make ISO you can't use ePSXe, use another programs like Isobuster or Blindread
and dont forget to mount it with daemon tools for better performance.
Try also CDRWIN .It works great for me. btw, does anybody know what is the size of the isos from isobuster and blindread? I think 700mb from cdrwin is too much.
rio: mounting the iso with daemon tools is faster than using the "Load ISO" option in epsxe?
Thanx Much!!!!

Thanx alot, I'm going to try all of your suggestions. Just one question what do you mean by "mount"? I hope it's not what every perverted male would take it as....hehehehehe...anyways thanx guys for all your help. I want so much to play valkeryie profile using my emulator, but it's not compatible, at least with the CD...the battle scenes go into a sort of "stop/start" type of freeze. But I think with an ISO it will solve that problem. I could be just blowing smoke out of my own butt, as it has probably already been thought of. Well I guess Ill see.

Thanx Again,

to "mount" an iso is to use a program(daemon tools) and emulate a cdrom drive. It will create a E: drive(or any letter you want) as if it was a cdrom drive with the cd you mounted with the iso. Then, use the "run CDROM" in epsxe after selecting the correct drive in the cdrom config and it will play thinking that it is a cdrom.
well, i don't know how to use Daemon tools so i just use the"Run ISO" in the ePSXe

Its really easy. I didn't have to configure it at all. Just install the program then right-click the icon in the systray and go to 'Virtual CDROM' then click moount image and browse for your image. You do basically the same thing to unmount the image. However if your already satisfied with the Run ISO option then it may not be worth the trouble for you.
thanks for the advice i'll try that later
clone cd along with daemon tools is the way to go for me.
use clone cd

just use clone dc pop in the cd into tray then start up clone cd and press the button cd to image file ,wait intill thats done, start up epsxe press run iso then just find the iso in the windows temp file and it should start. it worked for me.

I think this is exactly what i meant.I too use clone cd and not a single problem till now.:) :D
I was using CloneCD until for some reason I decided to get CloneCD3. just recently the free demo ended so I'can't use it anymore.

Oh well maybe I'll try ISO buster or Blindwrite.
well, Blindwrite is easier to use than Iso Buster
