Check out the shots, difference between is the left side is running full screen @ 1152x864 and the right is running window @ 800x600. Beside the graphix gitches, my speed is 60fps in full screen but 15fps in window. Puzzled...???

Since you're using Voodoo3, go with Lewpy's Gliide plugin.... 3dfx cards work super well with Lewpy's plugin. Also, check out the screenshots I took of that game on the Screenshots forum. I use Pete's OGL there, but I have a GeForce2MX.

Geez! I don't know, that's a tough choice. I don't think I can make that kind of decision for you. On the one hand you've got the Geforce3 which has the Nfinite effects engine and takes advantage of DX8, but in the other hand you've got the Geforce3 which can use HRAA and has increased memory bandwidth. Its a really big decision, but if you weigh out the pros and cons of each I think you'll come up with the right sollution for you.:D

Kairi00, is Saiyuki: Journey West released outside of Japan yet? If so, what type of game is it, Strategy or RPG? It looks very good and if it is an RPG, I would be interested in puchasing it. Thanks for any help.
Definately, go for the GEForce 3 if you can. Right now, it is, bar none, the top of the line Video card out. But beware, it is still quite pricey.:(

sxamiga: Yep.. the game was released Aug 14, 2001. It's definitely more of a strategy game than RPG... "Final Fantasy Tactics" would be the closest game I could think of.

I've gotten further into the game, and boy, the special effects are AWESOME! I'll post more screenies on the screenshots forum when I get the chance.
