I know that ePSXe, like most of emus, use 100% of the cpu, but i want it to use less cpu, cause it's produce useless heat...
Is there a way to limit it at like 80% ? or an external software which can do that ?
I tried to use the command line -p <number>, but it only slows the emulation, it doesn't lower the cpu usage...
Thanx in advance...

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but 100% CPU usage means that it has 100% of the processor cycles assigned to it. It doesn't nessecarily have to use them all.... If you are that worried about heat tho, try underclocking your PC.

dont worry about it dude. for one, ePSXe isnt that CPU straining. it creates a lot less stress than say, Prime95 or [email protected]ome, so it really shouldnt generate that much more heat. and like Kane said, if you're worried about heat, underclock your PC or just get a better cooling situation (more case fans, better HSF). i think that you're looking to solve a problem (too hot CPU) but looking in the wrong place.
