I doubt your CPU is failing. It's more likely your HDD that is failing. (I had similar problems)

Download and run Speedfan http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php.

Click the S.M.A.R.T. Tab and select your harddisk, Click "Peform an indeph analysis online" and then paste the results here.
