Is it possible to tap a ps2 console to a laptop?

im working abroad (uae) and i left my ps2 back at home... so it's boring here and i can't afford to buy a new television just to play a ps2 game...

so what im thinking if it is possible to tapped or connect a ps2 console to a laptop... (is it possible to just use the monitor to play ps2?)

hence if it is possible...

- what kind of ps2 console should i buy? (slim?)
- and where could i connect my ps2 to my laptop?

i think that my laptop can't push it limits just to play or run a "ps2 emulator" that's why im thinking if it could be possible to do this... and if it's guaranteed a success, then i'll buy myself a new ps2 console...

well, thanks in advance guys, hoping for some answers...

Using an external video capture device via USB would do the job. You'd just need a program like DScaler - Home to show up your image from the PS2 through Composite or S-Video (or component if the device supports it). I'd prefer to leave further explanation to other members to avoid false information :p Also any PS2 works.
after searching from google, it seems that there's this "video capture card" that can be used to connect a ps2 and a laptop... but people said that it's hard to find these things... but well, i'll try to find some here in uae especially in dubai... i hope that it will work fine if i found it...
