By saves I mean memory cards.
and I would like to convert an NSTC mem.card of FF8 to a PAL one. (be able to play a game started in an NSTC version in a PAL version). Are there any side-effects? Thanks.

ive heard of it being done, im not really sure about it...

but i can say, there are no "side effects"....im not sure what you mean by that exactly, but i cant think of any side effects

Yes its more then possible with PSXGameEdit tool.
