I have not got Turok or Panzer Dragoon, so here is my question.

Is CXBX so far programmed that it is able to load and/or save a commercial game?

Turok does.

If you run 'samples' (most likely on xbins) youll notice cxbx creating a UDATA and TDATA folder, that is cxbx creating a gamesave.
