I use ubuntu. My graphic card is x3100.
When I upgraded mesa to 7.6 del. I found that it already supportted opengl 2.1. I also checked the gl extention,it has all the extention ogl 2.1 requires.
But I still cannot run games on my PC.When I open a game it just stoped when shows direct rendering found or sometimes just crashed.
Can someone give a technical explanation?
Is it a problem of intel or dolphin?

Can texture formats be supportted when drivers promote?I mean is intel has the potential to run ogl plugin?
And I am confused the ogl standards don't include texture formats requirement?or it's nothing to do with the ogl just hardware don't support?
