Intel is planning to cut down their Desktop cpus in the begging of next year, together with the release of the P4 Northwood.

I like AMD, much better, gunna upgrade someday, I only have a athlon 800 with my 640 megs of RAM< and almost all 6 of my PCI slots on my motherboard are filled, I need more slots :)

6 PCI slots filled? What do you have in your pc?

welll, my vid card is AGP. But I have, a soundcard, DVD decoder, another sound card, TV Tuner, USB expansion (I do have 8 USB slots too, only 2 in use), and Ethernet card.

I am definenately gonna get an amd processor again.. Probably an amd tbird XP sometime next year.. I bet amd cpu prices will be lower than those pentium prices you put there.. You can get an amd tbird C-1.4 gig 266 mhz fsb for 120 bucks right now which can kick the P4 1.6 gig's ass up and down the benchmarks and games..

Why do you have 2 sound cards, Ryoga?

prafull: AMD's processors have changed a lot since K6-2 time. It's much better now, and considering the price, it's really worth it. I'm neutral about this AMD vs Intel conflict, but I really think AMD is a step ahead from Intel.

yup amd is a must coz its a combination of cisc and risc instruction
