Init Core: Not DirectX

Hi,

I'm having a problem when I try to run Legend Of Zelda Collectors Edition, Dolphin says:

"Error loading Plugins/Plugin_PadSimple.dll: Can't read Info"
"Can't init any PAD Plugins"
"Couldn't init the core. Check your configuration."

Running MacBook Late 2008, DX 9c installed, Nvidia GeForce 9400M, Dolphin SVN R 3972.

Does your plugins page look something like this:

Also, are you running windows through something like bootcamp or do you have it locally installed?

If you didn't download and install the March 2009 or August 2009 update for DirectX then it is a DirectX problem.

The errors you posted are indicative you didn't download and install the latest updates for DirectX.

I'd also hate to break it to you, but that game isn't compatible, just like OOT Master quest and any game which uses multiple executables.

When you try to launch a game from the menu, you'll only get a black screen. You can expect to wait a long time before this will be fixed as it's one of the lowest priorities for development. Best just to stick the game in an actual Gamecube or Wii and play it for now. :)
Why not just dump the roms off the disc and play them with Project64?

Oh really? I was trying to see if the SoT Glitch in Majora's Mask was related to my Wii, so I wanted to try it in Dolphin. I have a couple more games I want to play using Dolphin so i'll download the DX August 2009 Update then. Thanks for your help.
no, the Glitch is the game itself. unfortunately.
