Just a random DVD case for size comparisons. It was the closest one at the time, and yes I do like the movies.

I could say the same about Final Fantasy 7-9 though for frisbees.

Trust me, if it wasn't for GT4, I would never buy one. Alas, other means of PS2 playing has let's say, not moved along as quickly as I had hoped it would, or I'd be usuing that instead. Purchase of necessity only.

yeah, i got myself one of those slim ps2 models too. quite small, i must say. especially compared to the clown-shoebox size of the original.

I really haven't noticed any noise from mine at all. If i put my head right beside it, I can hear it spin, but other then that I don't thinkI have ever heard it once. I use it in vertical mode, so I wonder if that makes any differance in the spinning of the disc.

yeah, PCSX2 would be nice, but don't forget you need a PC that can run it at the right FPS.
By the time PCSX2 is able to play games, I hope to have a machine that is good enough to play it. Perhaps I'll have to wait for a while before using the graphics enhancements and stuff, but it'd be great nonetheless. And as I've said before, I can wait... I've tons of games to play until then ;)

My first gen ps2 died last August. Was very sad day. I tried everything... even after cracking it open and cleaning the lens and making sure all the gears were in sync. Nothing. Picked up a new one at BB with that guarantee for the ps3. All I have to do is return it and it's credit.

My living-room is too cluttered for the slim-line. I'd lose it between the piles of games and dvds. Looking at that picture I'd prolly try to open it thinking it WAS a dvd.
