Im sure im not the only one but Gran Tourismo 2 always fails to work after the piracy and seat belt warning. I ahve the thing set up right, but the dos window comes up with some cd read error. can anyone help as i got epsxe specifically for GT2 and its bugging me. Thanks for reading hope u can help bye!

In your CDRom configuration,just check "Enable Accurate CDRom Timing" and it will work fine.

It looks like you have the wrong CDROM reader plugin, or you have the right CDROM reader plugin but the wrong configuration for it.
As I understand, the choice of a CDROM plugin depend of the brand of your CDROM reader ( If i'm wrong could someone please correct me ) the ePSXE CDR ASPI 1.4.0 works fine for me.
About the configuration, try enabling or desabling the "Enable accurate CDROM timing checkbox"

No,the choice of the CDRom plugin doesn't depend on your CDRom reader.
It depends on preferences,and the games you want to play to.
The 2 best ar e the internal one(recommended) and Pete's one(has some nice options).
