MX200 .. but why not just get a mx400 or > Ali? the price diff should only be around $10 ..
I suspect Ali is getting some kind of bargain (hence why he said he needed the information this weekend). Otherwise I'm inclined to agree the venture is foolish.

Ali: the translation of my admittedly confusing "otherwise I'm inclined to agree the venture is foolish" is I wouldn't get the card unless you're getting one heck of a deal.
Well Ryos it is sort of one heck of a deal............in a sence that.........I got Asus card for 60 $..........and I have found a person who can buy it for 50$.........and I am getting a new G-Force for just 65$...........that means I only have to pay 15$ more.........so what do U think is the deal woth it...........I mean would that give me some difference in graphics or not.........!.......I will have FSAA, and other stuff.........!

now tell me if the deal is full of shit or not..........!

I don't think it's worth it. You won't gain any significant performance increases at all. Compare the specs:

Nvidia TNT2 M64

Core Clock: 125x2 (250) Mhz
Pixel/Texel Fill Rate: 250/250 Million
Memory Clock: 150/2 (75) Mhz
Memory Bandwidth: 1.2 GB/s

Nvidia GeForce 2 MX 200

Core Clock: 175x2 (350) Mhz
Pixel/Texel Fill Rate: 350/700 Million
Memory Clock: 166/2 (83) Mhz
Memory Bandwidth: 1.3 GB/s

The major bottleneck is the memory. As you can see the TNT2 M64 and GF2 MX 200 run at nearly identical memory specifications. With the specs above, upgrading to a GF2 MX 200 would get you at most 5 fps. And forget about running FSAA, the performance hit would be too great, unless you like playing your games at 15 or lower frames per second. I would advise you to keep your current videocard and look elsewhere for a better graphics solution. A GeForce 2 MX or MX 400 would be a good choice. The GeForce 2 GTS has also dropped significantly in price and is looking really good right about now.

dude!!!!
shop www.pricewatch.com

i would get an ati radeon 7500 or 8500

if you like nvidia then you could probably score a gforce 3 for about $200 these days. prices are really low because no one is selling things because people are worried about the economy. now is the best time to score a good deal.
Thanks guys...........Im am not going that damn deal...........I'll wait....and get a G-Force 2 GTS or something good.........!

i think u should buy an geforce2 mx400 or gf2 gts...if u have lots of money buy an geforce 3 ti 500 or ati radeon 8500...if u want a Vcard to play games and stuff i think u should go to geforce 3 ti500..well this is my opinion...
:)
I think that my over excitment for the G-Force 2 mmx 200.......is just gonna put me in the hole........waiting is better......I will wait and get an Asus G-Force 2 MX400 with DDR......having 3D glasses.........with TV out.......and bundled with some goodies........Asus benchmarks are always greater as compared to others.......!
