So, I am having trouble getting PCSX to work on my new machine. Any disc I try to run I get this: "rom2 NOT FOUND, erom NOT FOUND", then I get a pop up saying I need to update directx then the program just shuts down or locks up. I don't think I need to update direct x, I got windows 7 on a one day old machine. It also says the GS plugin failed to initiate and it can't recover from it. I got the right BIOS stuff I believe so I don't know what could be wrong. Any help? :???:

oh I found the logs here's what it says:

The faq for 0.9.4 is just as valid for 0.9.6.

READ IT.

Thanks, but I already read it several times if you're referring to the FAQs that come with the emulator. It says you must upgrade DX but I'm already running DX11. I have a hunch an older version may break windows 7 and I don't want to find out. :)

Ah I see the FAQ on the forum. I'll give that a try again, thanks!
