Since I can't really use my ds without my parents watching me, I would like to know which emulator is currently working for me.
Before I was using no$gba, but since it didn't update for pretty long time, I would like to see or change a new emulator (desume or iDeaS) if they can actually work better than no$gba. Can anyone give me a suggestion compare iDeaS or no$gba (I exclude desume because I heard it is still worse than both.) Please don't start any unnecessary comment or argument.
P.S. I have a pretty good computer right now, which can run pcsx2 pretty well.

If you have No$GBA 2.6a, you can still run most new games at playable speeds with the No$Zoomer 2.3.0.2 utility.

Moving to misc handheld discussion and deleting your duplicate topic in the iDeaS subforum.

Seeing as your computer is pretty good I would say you should mainly use DeSmuME, but it's not a bad idea to keep no$gba around cuz there are still one or two games which play a little better in it.
iDeaS unfortunately is marred by horrible audio so unless you plan to play with no sound it's not a good choice and compatibility aint that great anyways (eventhough it can do some things no$gba can't)

LOL yes LOL, whatever...
Fact remains that Desmume run most games fine without auto frameskipping on my system (plus AA in Vista for 3D games).

to OP, have you tried the latest Desmume release or SVN compile? speed have increased considerably than the last time you heard the bad things, just try it, what games are you trying to run anyway?

And you have tested this?? Sound problem solved with opzion for sound, fix games problems solved, use all and test with no$wtt and enable turbo option and you will see.

All the emulator work very fine into one sistem AA, the problem is to use one emulator with one normal PC.

Example?? Use yours solution and No$gba solution into one PC Pentium 4 geforge 6200 win XP (my PC) and you will see that no$gba is the best, because one emulator need to emulate with the minimal power and no with the maximal power...

I said on MY system, and as the OP apparently have "maximal power" PC (he can run pcsx2 fine) I bet he'll be fine too.
No$gba is a good emu I agree, but it's rather outdated with limited capability compared to today's ds emu (no save state which is deal breaking for me).

Just cuz something constantly gets worked one does not mean it's constantly getting better, some revisions to an SVN have to be withdrawn cuz they breaks that were already on place, or perhaps they come with an unreasonable resource use. Emulation is a trial and error thing, one step forward one step back untill you finally find that breakthrough but somtimes that can take days, weeks, even months depending on what's wrong. So yes DeSmuME is good, and it's good that it's actively being worked on, but it's hardly improving as rapidly as you say it is.
Plus you need a fair bit of PC knowledge to even compile the SVN, for the common guy that can't compile the SVN, DeSmuME is advancing just as slowly as any other emu.

Heya, I didn't want to start a new thread; I guess this one 'll do.

I'm just wondering why in the No$GBA-forum there's always tons of people browsing while the Desmume-forum seems rather like a ghost town. Because of that I didn't even try Desmume until now seeing that it seems to be great. Also, am I right that No$GBA doesn't seem to get updated anymore, the author is dead or in prison or on Mars or whatever?
So, why is there such lacking interest for Desmume? Is there some big drawback that I don't know of?
